DKB LAW FIRM
DeMark, Kolbe, and Brodek, founded in 1964, is a business law firm serving the Kenosha and Racine community. With a focus on both preventing and mitigating legal issues, our team helps clients resolve legal challenges while proactively minimizing the impact of government regulations and taxes to protect their bottom line.
Varitay was tasked with updating DKB’s website content to showcase their new leadership and partners. Honoring the firm’s previous natural, honest photos, we asked them to keep their offices as-is and just “do their work” while ignoring Cam, the crazy photographer sneaking behind their desks. It was a fun, authentic way to capture the collaboration and hard work DKB puts into serving their clients daily.
OAKFIRE PIZZA
Passionate about great pizza since 2015, Oakfire started in a remodeled 1850s house in Lake Geneva, crafting Neapolitan pizzas. After 100,000 pizzas, we built a new location with two Stefano Ferrara ovens and stunning views of Geneva Lake. Now, with an additional spot in Kenosha, our wood-fired pizzas and from-scratch menu, made with local and imported Italian ingredients, continue to be served with one key ingredient: Passion.
David Scotney, owner of Oakfire Pizza, a creative marketing business, and multiple vacation properties, has built an exceptional and loyal team that supports him across all his ventures. To honor their dedication, he wanted to showcase their hard work and commitment through team headshots that reflect their collective spirit and the strength of their collaboration.
THE JOHNSON FOUNDATION
The Johnson Foundation at Wingspread in Racine, Wisconsin, is a nonprofit focused on addressing environmental and societal challenges. Located in a historic Frank Lloyd Wright-designed building, the foundation hosts meetings and conferences that promote collaboration on sustainability and public policy. Driven by the Johnson family’s commitment to the environment, the foundation fosters dialogue and innovative solutions for global issues.
Varitay was thrilled and honored to be asked to capture the dedicated staff of The Johnson Foundation at Wingspread. Using the stunning architectural backdrop of Wingspread to photograph this exceptional team was truly a highlight in my years as a photography studio owner.

What exactly are Team Photos?
Team Photos consist of two key components. First, individual headshots of everyone, taken with consistent lighting, backdrop, and composition. These clean, uniform photos are perfect for websites, internal communications, and email signatures, creating a cohesive, professional look. Well-executed headshots elevate your brand, demonstrate relevance in today’s market, and show that you value your team.
Additionally, group photos can capture the energy, dynamics, and unity of your team. These are great for banner ads, social media, and showcasing your talented, loyal team
What are your rates for Team Photos?
The cost for team photos varies based on the number of people:
- 2-5 People: $150 per person
- 6-20 People: $135 per person
- 20+ People: Contact us for custom rates
We also offer on-location studio setups if needed. Please reach out for more details or to get a personalized quote.
What should we wear for our Team Photos?
Meet with your staff and go over the wardrobe expectations to agree on a color palette.
We recommend wearing solid, neutral colors like gray, black and white. We love taupes and pops of soft blue or green. Ensure everyone on the team is wearing similar styles and color palettes to create a unified look. Consider bringing a suitcoat or cardigan if you have short sleeves, for a layered look.
We discourage our clients from wearing orange,yellows,reds because that doesn’t always go well with your skin tone.

We understand that organizing large groups can be challenging, and we offer flexible options such as makeup days and the ability to match photos for off-site or unavailable staff. Our post-processing skills ensure a cohesive look across all images, even if some team members are missing or located elsewhere. Whether aligning with corporate guidelines or managing diverse team compositions, we’re committed to delivering unified and professional final images.
